I grew up in Portland, Oregon and love the outdoors. I practice meditation, yoga, and love to dance, hike, swim, ski, and climb. I am a visionary philosopher, social entrepreneur, spiritual guide, and musician. In my work, I have a deep passion for the cultural, psychological, and spiritual dimensions of global flourishing and sustainability. In 2016 I published a book with my colleagues entitled Metatheory for the 21st-Century: Critical Realism and Integral Theory in Dialogue (Routledge). I'm currently working on two more: one called Metatheory for the Anthropocene: Emancipatory Praxis for Planetary Flourishing; and the other is entitled Visionary Realism and the Emergence of a Eudaimonistic Society: Metatheory in a Time of Metacrisis.
